Pastor LaTonya A. Donaldson is the youngest daughter of Pastor Samuel Donaldson (deceased) and Minister Betty J. C. Donaldson. She is a native Baltimorean and a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and Morgan State University (Finance). She has studied at the Family Bible College and Seminary, under the tutelage of Apostle Eddie A. Montgomery (deceased). She has been employed for the past 15 years as a Mathematics Instructor (grades 6-12) in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public School Systems.
Pastor Donaldson received her early Christian Education at the New Friendship Baptist Church, under the pastorate of her grandfather, Dr. J. Joseph Culp. She was baptized at the age of 9, and continued her growth in the Lord and in the Word of God at the New Mt. Joy Missionary Baptist Church, under her father's leadership. During the course of the years, she served as the head of the Trustee's Ministry, the head of the Women's Ministry, Sunday School and Bible Study Instructor, Praise and Worship Leader, President of the Ushers' Ministry, Choir Member, and wherever else she may have been needed in the ministry. She preached her initial sermon on the third Sunday in March, 2006. Her subject was, "A Spiritual R.S.V.P.". She was licensed to preach the Gospel by her then pastor, Elder Donald W. Major and the New Mt. Joy Family and later ordained by Apostle Donald E. Miles of Atlanta, GA. Pastor Donaldson has a heart for the people of God. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 18 and her heart's cry is, "If I can help somebody as I pass along then my living shall not be in vain."
